Making 3D shapes
Kia Ora,
Recently for maths we have been going over and making some 3D shapes. We were given some little toothpicks and some bluetack to make a 3D shape and I made a cube as you can see here.
and before that I made a 2D Square based pyramid that looks 3D and it was so fun to do and I hope we can do it again

Planting
On Thursday the 26th of September The whole batten team got split into two groups and we went down to centennial stream and planted a heap of plants and it was so awesome to see that it all used to just be grass then to see what a big difference we made and here are some photos of it.

Global Play Day
Today we had another global play day and this time I changed the colour of My mask that I made so now it is black with a yellow lightning bolt and we also have a DJ booth which my friends helped me paint.we also have a suggestion box which is where people can right down names that we should call the dj and at the moment there are alot of suggestions and me and My friends will see which one we like the most.We are hoping to make a mini concert at our school for our class and it will be epic.

cycle safety
Kia ora everyone,
this week I will tell you about something that the school organises for the year six's and it is called Cycle safety where they teach you the rules of being in a bike.
Cycle safety is where people come to school's and teach kids the rules of cycling they took us on the rad and did some tests with us like seeing if we can do the bike signals and also looked they teach you the road rules.
It was awesome, going around the roads of christchurch and I wish we could do it again.

sparkle day
On the 21 of June we had Sparkle day were we wore our most sparkly clothes and sparkled the whole day.We also made a video about why the world needs to sparkle.
